A Vocational Assessment/Evaluation provides a comprehensive objective review of an individual’s employability and/or training potential.
Like the TSA, the Vocational Assessment/Evaluation involves an in-depth interview with the client, but also includes psychometric and standardized vocational testing as part of the vocational assessment/evaluation process. It assesses learning competencies, aptitudes, intelligence, academic achievement, vocational interests and personality type.
Assessments may include General Aptitude Test Battery (GATB), Differential Aptitude Test (DAT), Test of Nonverbal Intelligence (TONI-4), Wide Range Achievement Test (WRAT-4), Canadian Academic Achievement Test (CAAT), Myers-Briggs Type Indicator ® (MBTI ®), Strong Interest Inventory®, Canadian Work Preference Inventory (CWPI), Work Personality Index ®, Career Interest Profiler (CIP), FIRO-B, CPI 260 ™ and the Career Values Scale.
Vocational Assessments/Evaluations can be completed in-person or virtually using approved telehealth platform.
