An Occupational Therapy Worksite Assessment is beneficial in identifying gaps to an employee’s ability to perform job tasks, and where possible making recommendations for accommodations to allow a successful return to work.
An Occupational Therapist will assess the employee’s position focusing on the physical and cognitive demands required to perform the specific job tasks.
The occupational therapist will provide a comprehensive report outlining the job description, analyze functional job components and determine the required physical demand levels (strength, range of motion, force and frequency etc.) to perform the necessary tasks.
